RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT IN SUGARCREEK
TOWNSHIP
The Open Space Advisory Committee supports the
Sugarcreek Township Trustees who favor “Responsible Development” in
Sugarcreek Township. Their leadership on ensuring strict and
responsible adherence to the Sugarcreek Township Comprehensive
Development Plan is applauded.
The Open Space Advisory Committee appreciates the
efforts of the Trustees who are setting a high priority on the health
and safety of our residents and working with the Community at Large on
resolving the sewer and potential well water contamination issues.
This has resulted in long overdue actions currently under
consideration.
The Open Space Advisory Committee supports
responsible housing growth as a method to insure the health and safety
of the community, to protect the quality of life of our residents and
to protect the environment, while the sewer and other infrastructure
issues are resolved in a timely manner.
The Open Space Advisory Committee recommends that
part of the solutions for well water and sewer issues is the
utilization of open spaces/green spaces throughout the Township and
surrounding communities.
